SK61 RGB Mechanical Keyboard – White/Gateron Brown

SK61 RGB Mechanical Keyboard is a standard-sized 60% keyboard with RGB backlight, USB-C cable connection, and Gateron optical switches. The removable cable offers convenience and portability. They come with high-quality PBT caps only found in more expensive models.

Optical switches are considered durable than traditional mechanical switches and have a rating of  100 million keystrokes.

For faster response, they have an actuation around 1.5mm. There is a horizontal infrared beam that is transmitted across the width of the inner key switch. The beam is normally blocked from lighting a sensor by the stem. Once the switch is pressed, the stem moves and the sensor activates.

Due to the light speed, an optical switch has an extremely fast response time of 0.2ms, which makes them perfect for gaming.
